eCom Scotland In 2017 Corporate eLearning Movers And Shakers List
eCom Scotland are delighted that their CEO Linda Steedman has been ranked number 28 in the 2017 list of Corporate eLearning Movers And Shakers List.
Published by the eLearning Industry, Bob Little’s list identifies over 100 individuals who are pivotal in the world of Corporate eLearning. Individuals were selected on a basis of the person’s perceived influence within the eLearning industry be that as a practitioner, commentator, facilitator and/or thought leader. Judges were asked to create their own independent lists which were then used to produce one overall index
In its 8th year, this year’s index differs to previous years with the release of just one “world-list” as opposed to numerous regional lists covering World, North America, Europe, the UK and Asia-Pacific. This is to reflect the advances in technology and the changing landscape of the industry.
Featuring high on this list of global influencers, Linda’s contribution to both the field of eLearning and eAssessment was noted; indeed of the 120 individuals named, she is the only one associated with eAssessment. Linda has been a Board Member of the eAssessment Association for over 8 years, is a past chair of the eLearning Alliance and is active in the learning research community. She founded eCom Scotland in 1996 and since then has been pivotal of the growth of the organisation. Expansion to the US followed in 2014 with the opening of eCom USA. Linda’s continued commitment to innovation in workplace learning technology solutions ensures her appearance high on this list.
