gomo Goes Stateside

Following unprecedented growth in 2016 gomo learning, the award-winning authoring suite, is to open a North American office.

The HTML5 e-learning authoring tool, hosting and analytics provider will expand its support within the United States from Monday October 3rd.

gomo’s US team will be led by e-learning veteran Thom Tate, who is joining as Business Development Manager. Thom will run the US office from Atlanta, Georgia.

gomo Managing Director, Mike Alcock, commented: “We’re very excited to be increasing our support to our American customer base with the introduction of gomo US. I have known Thom for many years and he is an ideal fit to drive gomo forward within North America, to support our US customers and to help onboard a future generation of gomo users. As well as sales, Thom can provide local support and training services to our growing US customer base.”

The authoring tool, ranked as number one in the world by Industry guru Craig Weiss, is currently used by a global client base that includes Nike, Volvo, UnitedHealthcare, Medline, KPMG, British Airways, Xerox, Jaguar Land Rover and many more.

gomo Business Development Manager, Thom Tate, commented “I’m thrilled to be a part of such an explosive and exciting company. Over the past few years, I’ve seen the shift from desktop to cloud based tools in several industries and I know that’s what companies are looking for. There has been a need for this space and gomo has gone above and beyond to fill that need. I’m looking forward to helping gomo grow in North America.”

For the past twenty years, Thom has been involved in training and adult education in many different industries. Thom worked alongside gomo Managing Director, Mike Alcock, to grow renowned authoring tool Atlantic Link before it was acquired in 2010 by Kaplan Learning Technologies.

Thom lives north of Atlanta with his family and enjoys traveling, snow skiing, boating, cooking and writing. He also plays Lacrosse and coaches his daughter’s team.

Thom will be joining gomo at DevLearn 2016, November 16-18 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
