2016 Talented Learning LMS Vendor Awards

BLOOMSBURG, PA – December 8, 2016 – Independent learning technology analysis and consulting firm, Talented Learning LLC, recognized the "best of the best" learning management systems vendors this week, with its 2nd Annual LMS Vendor Awards. Winners were revealed by the firm's CEO and lead analyst, John Leh, in an announcement on the Talented Learning blog.

"Because we spend every day shoulder-to-shoulder with LMS buyers and sellers, we have a unique insider's perspective on what's happening in the world of learning technology and innovation," Leh explained. "Once a year, it's important to step back and celebrate vendors who truly are moving the market forward. The companies and individuals on this year's list are shaping the future of learning, and they deserve enthusiastic recognition for their accomplishments."

The LMS Vendor Awards Selection Process

With more than 700 diverse LMS vendors in today's complex learning technology marketplace, the process of choosing "the best of the best" isn't easy. Talented Learning selected its award candidates from more than 125 top-tier vendors it has evaluated in-depth during the past 3 years.

Analysts meet directly with LMS vendors to understand who they are, what they do, why they are unique, and who their customers are. Then they compare solutions by documenting and evaluating hundreds of pre-determined product, service and business characteristics.

When the awards were launched in 2015, Talented Learning selected 10 finalists in each category. This year, the firm narrowed the field of finalists to only 5 vendors, so winning choices would not be diluted. After choosing the top 5 vendors for each award, analysts designated three winners, and two honorable mentions.
