What do you like best? It is a very vast LMS, which obviously allows not only to create, manage and organize courses, but also to act as a document database, mediacast, surveys, tests, as a personal portfolio and also manages the skills of each individual user. He really doesn't lack anything.
What do you dislike? At first it can be a bit cumbersome, but in the end everything has its reason, and once you understand how to do it, an infinity range of possibilities opens up.

Very useful for technical trainings especially with subtitled videos in many languages

What do you like best? I find very good that the authoring is inside the LMS and based on an internal repository. Especially for tech training the reuse of materials and the security of tech contents upgrades, without rembering before all the courses where I used a particular pic or text is fantastic.
What do you dislike? Aestetically you need to customize it otherwise it is very "neutral", very HELVETICA. But with some work it is also nice graphically

What do you like best? Internal authoring to implement the courses management engine of skills and learning paths
What do you dislike? The graphical interface is rigorous and simple. The software is truly complete and therefore assumes a non-obvious didactic planning abilitye.

What do you like best? - Powerful internal authoring tool for complete management of all features and content directly on the platform; - A complete internal tool for organizing and managing tests and evaluations on courses with final certification; - The articulated management of users in ILIAS allows you to create a corporate social network to enhance internal networking; - With ILIAS you can create modern Video Academy by organizing your Video Tutorials in effective online learning courses.
What do you dislike? Too good to be free and open source :) You may only need to find a good Service Provider in order to get the right support for you.

What do you like best? perfect right management, much tools, the new design Update, xAPI-functionality
What do you dislike? its a bit too much text based and they could do it better. For my purposes its ok.

What do you like best? Ilias offers a wide variety of colloborative functions. The structure and capabilities provide a progressive development of the digital learning approach. No need to step directly to costly to produced content. Easy to engage teachers/trainers. You can customize the environment per group or course like you would do with a web site.
What do you dislike? The look and feel could be better. At first you would think it is a cheap solution however the interest is in its functionalities

What do you like best? All the features are included in the kernel. The ability to use objects outside a training. The offline mode (SOP) to continue a course without network connection.
What do you dislike? Lack of documentation and help in english. Too much discussion in German in the forums.

What do you like best? The new idea for ILIAS 6.0, for a new General Layout and Menu Revision. To redesign the Overall ILIAS layout and its core controle elements. The spirit of the european community, and the focus on didactic functionalities, and the focus on quality.
What do you dislike? The missing core implementation of two powerful ILIAS-Plugins: Live-Voting and ILIAS Interactive Video.

What do you like best? I like the possibility to create courses in many languages with the possibility to export and import files for translation managements. We use it both on-line and the HTML export to be used on our machines
What do you dislike? Sometime the development of our request is not so quick as we would like.
