What do you like best?
What makes Absorb stand out to administrators is smart automation and operational simplicity. Features like rule-based auto-enrollments to handle complex recurring requirements. Its UI is clean, admin portal is easy, and the AI-powered Intelligent Assist is top notch. It reduces maintenance overhead without requiring a large technical team to manage it. Absorb essentially turns routine learning management into a smooth, automated workflow.
What do you dislike?
It works exceptionally well out-of-the-box, its main drawbacks center on workflow speed. Some custom ad-hoc reports lack deep data points. AE & BI solve that , but regular admin without that access finds complex exports tedious.

What do you like best?
I appreciate its intuitive user interface and the timely, responsive support we receive, especially through our bi-weekly meetings with Madelyn and Danny.
What do you dislike?
Support tickets can take longer to resolve, and it can be sometimes difficult to know the status or expected next steps. For example, we currently have one remaining ticket related to users not receiving notifications after switching sessions, but we don’t yet have a clear timeline for resolution. Communication around upcoming product releases would also be helpful. For example, a regular release newsletter showing what’s coming in the next months would help us forecast LMS work effectively.

What do you like best?
As I user, I like how easy the LMS is to navigate. The system was fully customisable to our organisations needs and that makes sure even the most tech-nervous staff find it easy to utilise to their needs. As an admin, I appreciate the level of detail for reports and understanding the needs of our staff and how it changes over quarters. We're able to pull some really fascinating data from the reports functions. I really appreciate the dedication and support from our Absorb rep Sharon!
What do you dislike?
The only thing I would like to improve on the system is a function for manager-level staff to able to approve cancellations. Last-minute cancellations are the bane of any L&D team and although the system has some safeguards in place to manage that, it would be useful for managers to see exactly when and what their staff are cancelling. I know the idea has been floated around in Absorb's idea's portal so hopefully we'll see some updates about that in the future.

What do you like best?
Absorb's navigation makes it simple for technicians and other users to find and complete training, regardless of their technical ability. I also highly value the reporting functionality, which provides robust data outputs that support compliance tracking, internal reporting, and communication of training outcomes. The platform has improved significantly over time, with regular enhancements and new features that continue to add value.
What do you dislike?
The main area for improvement is flexibility within reporting, filters, and administrative settings. At times, it can feel restrictive when trying to refine data or build more customised reports and dashboards. Some widgets do not allow users to drill down into more detailed information, and certain backend processes can be difficult to understand. While there are usually workarounds available, greater configurability would make reporting and administration more efficient.

What do you like best?
The ability to combine online training course content with virtual quizzes and ILC sessions is really helpful for our certified installer programme. The flexibility in the create feature also stands out to me, especially the capability to upload existing PowerPoint content and edit it as necessary, which again saves us time. The level of support offered by our implementation specialist has been amazing and made the process much smoother than it otherwise could have been.
What do you dislike?
I think the platform could be slightly more intuitive and flexible to use, we have felt at times like we have had to adapt our content to work with how the LMS is set up/structured rather than being able to adapt it fully to our needs. The LMS structure of having learning objects, courses, and then curriculums has meant we have had to restructure our courses to fit this flow.
It is a great LMS that is always improving. It has been a great asset for the company.

What do you like best?
The constant improvements and growth that are put into the platform. There are constant updates, which tells me that they are always investing to make it better. Additionally, it is straightforward to use. It has been a great LMS that has met our training department's goals and supported the company's growth.
What do you dislike?
There are some limitations with some of the functionality. Some things are not as individualized. Certain things are not adjustable for an individual because they are set at the curriculum level. It would be great to see more flexibility in adjusting things per learner.

What do you like best?
Definitely, user-friendly for teams without L&D experience, and easy to adopt across most organizations.
What do you dislike?
The portal settings and the Create tool feel a little disconnected, which can be confusing initially.
