Teachers' Role in Curriculum Development: An Alternative Approach

Higher authorities create a curriculum, and it then trickles down to the professionals who teach it. That arrangement is so normalized that nobody questions it. This article aims to break that approach. It argues that teachers belong within the design process, rather than at the receiving end. It’ll explore the stages, the obstacles, and the remedies from the vantage point of a professional who actually runs a classroom.
