Pros
  • Ease of Use & Navigation

Multiple users praised the platform's simple and intuitive UI. One user noted the navigation is "straightforward, making it easy to find any course," while another mentioned the updated UI makes the system "smoother and more intuitive for customers" without unnecessary complexity.

  • Customer Support & Service

Reviewers highly rated Adobe's support team. One customer highlighted that the "Help desk support is excellent, fast responses and persistent follow-up until issues are solved," and another mentioned the support teams are always there to help smooth out the learning curve.

  • Customization & Flexibility

Users appreciate the ability to tailor the platform. Reviews cited "powerful customization capabilities, allowing for personalized learning paths and a branded user experience," as well as flexibility in managing different user types and assigning training.

  • Feature Set & Functionality

The breadth of tools and integrations was a major plus. Reviewers loved the seamless integration with Adobe Captivate and Premiere Pro, as well as the ability to use multiple content formats (PDFs, slides, videos, audio, live training) and external course catalogs.

  • User Experience & Engagement

The platform successfully drives learner engagement. One user specifically compared the personalized experience to Netflix, praising the "curated course suggestions, gamification, multilingual support, and LinkedIn badge sharing."

Cons
  • Limited Features / Missing Tools

Some users found specific tools lacking for their business needs. For example, one reviewer noted the platform "does not seem to have any ecommerce ability to resell courses," and another mentioned that marking a course complete requires manual clicks rather than being automated.

  • Customization Limitations

Certain areas of the platform feel rigid to users. One review pointed out that "managers on self-registered users can’t be edited, which limits flexibility," while another mentioned that "email templates could offer more editing options."

  • Reporting & Analytics Issues

Data visibility is a pain point for some administrators. Multiple reviews (from different users/dates) specifically stated that "Finding the exact report can be challenging," suggesting the reporting interface could be more intuitive.

  • Complexity & Learning Curve

While usable once set up, the initial phase can be daunting. Reviewers noted "there's a learning curve for new users" and that "the initial setup and configuration can be extremely lengthy."

  • Integration & Technical Challenges

Users experienced a few technical and system-handling glitches. Examples include "migrating third-party content is tedious," retired classes still appearing to learners, and password reset issues occurring when multiple employees share the same name. Switching between sandbox and live environments also requires clunky workarounds, such as using incognito mode.

What do you like best? From a User Interface point of view, the SPA single web page architecture enhances the performance of the site. Its nice that you can integrate with third party apps using the APIs that it provides.
What do you dislike? Some features need more customizations and it needs more inbuilt applications instead of third-party integration.

An Effective LMS for Developing Skill-Based Programs

What do you like best? The ability of the software to manage entire learning programs for certification and learning plans is excellent. It also has the ability to play all kinds of e-learning content such as videos, pdfs, ppts, word documents, scorm, AICC, xAPI in a single player without having to install extra plugins, this makes it useful and easy for me.
What do you dislike? Adobe Captivate Prime is not free, after trial one has to part with $4/month per learner registered. i understand this is a way to keep the software going, but free software have a way to keep them going too without making them a must pay. Either way, i guess someone has to pay something!

What do you like best? Adobe Captivate Prime enables organizations to fulfill their learning objectives by delivering rich and consistent learning experience and simplifying LMS administration. Admin cockpit is simple, user friendly and enables even a novice LMS Administrator to perform all admin functions effectively. Adobe Captivate Prime has a strong and tightly integrated course management and user management module. Courses can be easily managed and linked to users, skills, gamifications, tags, workflows.
What do you dislike? Offers basic Reporting and analytics. Need stronger reporting module which enables organization to track complex learning indicators.

What do you like best? I love the simplicity of adding courses and users. The ability to add job-aids linked to courses is fantastic for me, especially in the Agile learning environment. Captivate Prime has everything you need.
What do you dislike? I now have more time on my hands during go-live events. My only wish is that I could keep it a secret how simple LMS management is now.

What do you like best? The best feature of this learning software is that you can manage all types of training here. eLearning, Virtual classroom, Instructor led training and activity based training.
What do you dislike? It needs third party integration with tools like Adobe Connect for meeting support. It would be good if there is an inbuilt facility.

What do you like best? Content creation facilities are good. You can keep content in a repository and use them for different courses depending on the structure, module, learning plan or certification. AICC, xAPI and SCORM compliant packages and content can be consumed in single player which is a neat feature.
What do you dislike? Although the content languages are in abundance, it needs more interface languages if it needs to adopted by larger multinationals.

What do you like best? Learner features like course catalog are particularly impressive, it allows third party integration and give a wide range of courses. Admins role also gets easier because they can assign courses to specific user groups and share with external user groups. I like the UI /UX. It’s simple and clean.
What do you dislike? Not a lot of cons but catalog sharing should be allowed for both internal and external users and shouldn’t be exclusive.

Abobe Captivate Prime is a good cloud based learning software

What do you like best? With a lot of hosting and server constraints, organizations heavily rely on cloud based software and platforms. Adobe Captivate Prime operates on a SaaS model so that is really good. Security, server constraints, hosting, stability and service are all taken care of. The pricing is easy to understand and work with, especially for smaller organizations.
What do you dislike? The stability, readability and navigation on the mobile apps need a little work though. It keeps improving so that’s a good sign.

What do you like best? Lots of modern design principles have gone into the design. I like the simple, clean and quick response design. The panes are easy to navigate. The pricing which is subscription based is also very simple and easy to work with. The single player for all your content is a big plus. Saves a lot of time which would have gone in downloading supporting tools.
What do you dislike? The completion badges look a bit dull, they should be better designed so learners can proudly display it.
